Picked up an Energy Suspension bushing kit for my Eagle Talon.

But realized it didn’t come with all the bushing we wanted so we made our own.

Shrinking them in liquid nitrogen before installing them.

Ride is pretty stiff, but we’ll see how all the new parts help (hopefully) at the track this weekend.

Over the weekend we took my Eagle Talon and family down to Las Vegas Motor Speedway for their Midnight Mayhem event. Car ran the same as last time – 11.2 @ 128ish (was hoping for a quicker time) but this time we got an in car video.

Here’s one more picture of my Eagle Talon waiting to get into the track.

We packed up the Talon and headed out to Wendover Raceway on Sunday. We meet up with a few other DSM’ers from UTDSM along the way.

I managed a 10.75 and a 10.8 with crappy driving and little tuning, actually none, sliders on ECMLink are zero’d out still.

This was done on a 2g pistons/1g rod bottom end w/ARP’s, stock head with FP2 cams, stock intake manifold and stock tranny. I am running a PTE 6262 (@ 30 psi) with other random bolt ons.

Last night we finished up the install of the external Bosch 044 fuel pump. Yup, you can thank the Utah winters for the rusty look.

I finally put my V3 ECMLink chip in too.

Direct access makes me all warm and fuzzy inside.

Now we’re waiting to see if the weather holds out for racing in Wendover on Sunday.
